New Fall Class…

Good Morning!

I hope you have enjoyed your summer break and have practiced mindfulness every day! If you need a tune-up or are just beginning, I am excited to start up with teaching again.

I have a really special class for people who struggle with anxiety, which seems to be most of us. The most common issue I see in my therapy room is anxiety. It can feel overwhelming and even frightening at times. This class will bring together all the best practices and tools to help you live a more peaceful and empowered life. It will be a great introduction to mindfulness for anxiety in a safe, supported group. It’s time to really get a handle on it, you deserve it and the world needs it right now! Stay tuned for more…

  1. Hi Madeleine,

Do you ever have classes in the evenings or weekends? I cannot attend weekday classes as I am working.
If you ever have something at another time I would be interested.

  2. Hi Madeleine
I would love to attend this class but will be moving into a new home on the starting date so would miss the first class. Would I still benefit if only taking the remaining classes. Could you let me know if that would work

    • Yes that would work for sure as you have already taken classes with me. We can discount the first week if you want, Irene.

How Do You Age Gracefully When You’re So Angry?

You don’t, is the short answer.  First of all, the phrase “aging gracefully” just pisses me off. Why? Because it sends a message that women are supposed to age in smooth, flowing, ballet dancer style.  Not the stop-and-start, messy, sometimes scary and angry and often hilarious way we live.  Oh

My Experiment in Timelessness

This summer I had the opportunity to spend 4 days at my cabin alone.  What I thought would be a time of rest and relaxation, perhaps invite some company, do some work, turned into a whole lot more. And a whole lot less. I noticed when this time arrived I

The Beauty and Danger of Labels

Where are you free of labels? In a crowd or by yourself in nature? “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”   Ralph Waldo Emerson I have to agree with Ralph. This is the work of a lifetime. To find out who you truly are rather than what you have been told.  I went for a run
