Gentle Yoga for Chronic Pain

New class starting!  I am excited to announce a new class starting February 8th, 2017.  This class is for anyone who suffers with the effects of chronic pain or illness, tension and anxiety, or just wanting to chill, learn to relax and let go.

This gentle class is focussed on restoring a calmer nervous system in the face of chronic pain or illness. We will use props to support our bodies to let go and relax, and guided breathing to invite a more optimal state of health and healing. This class is for anyone looking for a relaxed body and a calmer mind. If you can sit, lie and breathe, you can do this class, and you are invited.

When: Wednesdays starting Feb. 8th, 2017

Time: 12 noon to 1:15pm

Where: Namaste Yoga Studio, 310 Hudson Ave, beside the post office

$15.00 drop-in fee

The Beauty and Danger of Labels

Where are you free of labels? In a crowd or by yourself in nature? “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”   Ralph Waldo Emerson I have to agree with Ralph. This is the work of a lifetime. To find out who you truly are rather than what you have been told.  I went for a run
